WordPress is a content management system which allows you to create webpages and blog posts using a well established platform with thousands of themes and plugin options to expand it’s capability. To make WordPress easier for people who don’t have programming skills there have been many visual WordPress page builders created. Here are some of my Favorites.
Beaver Builder
I have tested several WordPress page builders and there are several I like but recently a client of mine sent me a link to WP Beaver Builder. After testing this software I have come too really like the way it works. Typically the page builders I have used in the past have a structural outline of the page and allow you to add sections but they do not really show you what the page looks like as you are editing it. The beaver builder does exactly that providing on page editing capabilities without losing any of the functionality provided by the traditional page builders. You can use this builder with any theme but you may have to do a small amount of customization to the theme settings. They do offer a demo if you want to check it out.

Visual Composer
Visual composer is another example of a WordPress theme page and post builder which has been fairly popular with over a million people using it. This builder offers both front and back end editors and you can find a lot of extension for additional capabilities. It comes with a $34 price tag which is nice and can be purchased for integration with themes you want to sell for a higher price.

Themify
Another company providing excellent options for WordPress page builders is Themify. They have two different page builders Themify and Themify Flow. Themify flow is another example of an onscreen editor but unfortunately it’s a theme and not a plugin which means if you want to use it then you have to use the theme provided. The Themify builder plugin is a traditional drag and drop builder with several options for add-ons expanding the capabilities of the builder plugin.

Divi
Another good page builder is created by Elegant Themes called Divi Builder and would be another example of the traditional drag and drop page builder. This builder has excellent features and is very simple to use with over 40 content modules and a large number of themes designed to work specifically with the builder. You can use this builder with any theme.

Choosing the right page builder can depend on a lot of factors including skill level, theme choices and personal preference of style. There are many other options to choose from, I think the ones listed here are among the best but I am always looking for bigger better options so feel free to add a comment and let me know about other options.
